MEET YOUR BEHAVIOUR SPECIALIST

Meet Ronnie

I specialise in resolving behavioural and communication issues through structured, engagement-based training.

My approach focuses on strengthening the relationship between you and your dog — creating clarity, stability and reliable behaviour in real-world environments.

I am confident in the results we achieve.

I live by a simple principle:

If you do not see measurable improvement after a session, you do not pay for the next.

This commitment reflects the standard I hold myself to and the trust I build with every client.

For years, I have worked with dog owners across Horley, Crawley, Reigate and the surrounding areas, helping resolve behavioural challenges ranging from aggression and reactivity to control and communication issues.

Whether you are addressing frustrating behaviour patterns or ensuring your dog develops into a stable, well-mannered companion, structured guidance makes the difference.

You will be in safe hands — and so will your dog.

Massie
My first session with K9 Greatness exceeded my expectations. I felt confident in what I’d been taught and Maisie was far more neutral to the point that a fox running across the road in front of us was no big deal! I’m really looking forward to our training journey with people who really know their stuff, professional and are very kind to boot!

Teddy & Bonnie
We had our first session with Ronnie for our two dogs Teddy and Bonnie, not knowing what to expect we took both dogs along feeling full of anxiety as they could be dog and human reactive and bad on lead but just after one session we already made such good progress with them, I could not believe he can work two dogs at the same time it’s incredible and they both were walking a lot better by the first few minutes of the session

The best trainer!! Don’t go anywhere else. We have tried a few trainers with our oldest dog with no improvements. Her lead walking was so bad and after getting another dog it was impossible to walk them both together. This drastically improved after 1 session with Ronnie.. he had both dogs walking in a heel.

Maia
I discovered K9 Greatness through a friend and I’m so glad I did. Ronnie has helped deal with Maia’s loose lead walking, crate training, attention barking and inability to settle in public. Maia now willingly goes to her crate without screaming the house down, she walks loosely by my side, and we can now enjoy taking her with us when we go to cafes and pubs.

Ghost
I cannot recommend K9 Greatness enough. Ronny’s coaching offers instant success, but it does require you to put effort in on each walks after. He has equipped me with the tools and understanding necessary to build a strong, positive relationship with my Ghost.

Our Dogs
We contacted Ronnie at K9 Greatness as we had some issues with our dogs. From the first message to visiting Ronnie he was so helpful even on the numerous messages I was sending asking for advice or what to do. We have our life back with our dogs now thanks to Ronnie. We travelled an hour and 20 mind and it was so worth it. The best person for your dog problems thanks once again we will be in touch in the future.

We get asked a lot of questions, so here are the ones we hear the most.

Yes, we specialise in working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including those considered difficult or aggressive. Our trainers have extensive experience and use techniques tailored to each dog’s unique needs to help them achieve positive behaviour changes in a safe and supportive environment.

Absolutely! We believe all breeds can be trained and nurtured. At K9 Greatness, we welcome dogs of every breed and background, focusing on their individual personality and behaviour rather than stereotypes.

Yes, we can help. While medication can sometimes support behavioural improvement, our approach often focuses on identifying the root causes of issues and addressing them through training and behavioural techniques. For this reason we prefer that you do not medicate your dog for any training.

No, medication is not a requirement for training. We assess each dog on an individual basis and work with them using proven training methods.

You will see a change before the end of lesson one. The timeline for behavioural changes depends on your dog’s specific challenges and how consistently the training techniques are applied.

Yes, we can help improve your dog’s recall skills. Reliable recall training is one of our specialities, and we use positive reinforcement and tailored strategies to ensure your dog responds to you consistently, even in challenging situations.

Yes, we have experience addressing separation anxiety in dogs. Our approach focuses on creating a sense of security and trust for your dog, so that they will be happy to be left alone.

Yes, we can assist with lead walking issues, whether your dog pulls excessively, lunges, or struggles with walking calmly on a lead. We employ techniques to improve their focus, reduce tension, and ensure that walks become enjoyable for both you and your dog.
